Anne helped me clear rooms in my house when my father passed away and my mother was hospitalised a few days later. While grieving the loss of my dad and visiting my mum everyday my house was last on the list of priorities and everything quickly backed up. I found it very overwhelming and couldn’t seem to tackle all the jobs that needed to be done. I was also embarrassed and apprehensive about showing someone my messy house.
Anne was so kind and non judgmental. I think because she had been through something similar, she knows that awful embarrassing feeling. We quickly got to work. While I decided on what could be thrown out, Anne was busy sorting my “rubbish”, into recycling and being super mindful of its disposal.
My room hasn’t looked so good in a very long time. I have been sleeping so much better as a result.
I can’t recommend Anne enough. Whether it’s clearing a loved one’s house or your own, she’s just amazing. I was so hesitant about getting her or anyone in to help but it was the best idea, I’m so glad I did it.
Thanks so much Anne

It is difficult to put into words the magic that Anne worked on our attic bedroom. After a very difficult year personally, the attic bedroom had become a dumping ground for everything and anything. It had piled up to the point where I couldn’t look at it anymore, so I didn’t. I ignored it, but it didn’t go away.
Nora (age 10) wanted her own space, and I still couldn’t face sorting and clearing the room. I realised I needed help.
Anne came into our home with empathy and super organisational powers! She worked with Nora to sort the space with kindness and she is now sleeping in her own room.
She is delighted and it is a big weight off my shoulders.
I would highly recommend.

Selling an inherited home is never easy, but Anne’s compassionate organising made it feel manageable. She took care of every detail, from decluttering sustainably to staging, with empathy and professionalism. The house looks the best it possibly can so hopefully will sell quickly. I know we couldn’t have done it without her.

Relief! I’d been putting off the job of clearing those shelves for months. Within an hour, Anne had helped me clear two boxes for the charity shop and two bags of recycling. I couldn’t have done it without her.

Since we moved into our house nine years ago, a few rooms/areas turned into dumping grounds without a clear function. Although it was not overly cluttered it was difficult to find things as everyone was working off their own system. Anne of Kindred Sorting did a consultation with us. She drew up a plan of action that enabled us to get rid of and recycle items and then systematically organise the storage spaces, surfaces and rooms. She brought a new level of harmony and clarity to our home and we’re all benefitting from that.

Transformational is how I would describe Kindred Sorting’s services. I was left with a studio full of the tools of my husband’s livelihood when he died suddenly at age 50. Finding a way to sift through instruments, musical scores, hard drives and obscene amounts of cables was beyond me — I didn’t know where to start.
Thankfully, Anne did.
With equal parts compassion and pragmatism, she steered me through the sorting process. You never expect to go through your other half’s life’s work, but with Anne at the helm, the time flew and things seemed to disappear like magic. I felt supported through the entire process and will be eternally grateful to her. The studio space has been transformed for me and our kids, yet it still retains the essence of their dad.
Anne brings positive energy and genuine care to everything she does. She’s clued in to what can be recycled and donated — and she definitely got more than she bargained for with the amount of cables and adapters we unearthed. She made light work of it. When she drove off with a brim-full boot, it felt like a weight had lifted.
Kindred Sorting has done me a great service.
